The Crime – www.twistedsketches.com – sketch #47 with the “twist” of CLEAN

April29

Twisted sketch #47 is live over at www.twistedsketches.com .  The twist for this sketch was CLEAN… any how or any way that word inspires you.  This is a great sketch site to get your creativity amped up! We would love for you to come and play along…and leave a link of your layout under the comment section of the sketch you worked with over at twisted sketches!

This week’s sketch twist inspired me by wanting to show exactly how “clean” my life actually is with a 5 year old & 2 year old.  I thought about titling this “After, Before, After, Before” because this photo of my wrecked family room could actually be a “before” or “after” photo.  I cannot keep up with my kids. They can tear a room apart faster than I can clean it.  and I can think of so many better things I would rather do with my time than fight this battle.  (Sigh) But alas, if you don’t keep up with this, it can quickly become a real “situation.” I know that everyone can relate to this.

So, here it is….a day in my life.

Trying to use up some old supplies…the paper here is from a large Paper Studio pad, with a few Cosmo Cricket paper details, letters are Creative Imaginations, Dymo label tape, Jenni Bowlin, Thicker asterick details, and some cut-up sticker of unknown brand.  I pierced holes around as a border for some varied texture and visual interest. My kids think this is a pretty funny layout! Thanx for looking!
