An exciting day! Today I am a “featured artist” over at Pam Callaghan’s amazing blog! You can check it out here . I shared a tutorial for making the roses you see here on this card. Please stop over and check out this amazing blog http://ideasforscrapbookers.blogspot.com/ …there are a lot of fantastic ideas and tutorials from a lot of AMAZING scrapbookers!
The design for this card was totally inspired by www.twistedsketches.com ‘s latest twisted card sketch #3 with the “twist” of TWILL.
All paper here is Anna Griffin. The butterfly TWILL ribbon is from Paper Studio. The butterfly and double-scalloped border was done using Martha Stewart punches. The 2 smaller roses were made using 100% silk ribbon from Baccali, and the larger ribbon was made using ribbon of unknown brand from my stash.
I hand drew the flourish/stems with pencil, pierced the holes, erased the pencil marks, and then hand-stitched the stems with Janlynn embroidery floss. TFL!!!!
