Marie Antoinette – Scraps of Darkness November Purple Haze kit & Blog Give-away!
Another layout I created with the gorgeous Purple Haze kit from www.scrapsofdarkness.com ! and don’t forget to leave a comment and be sure and subscribe to my blog, if you haven’t already, to win the Lovely Floral Cricut Cartridge – more details can be found on yesterday’s blog post!
I created this for the Round Robin challenge we have going on monthly over at the Scraps of Darkness’ forums. Talk about a super fun challenge!
This is a picture of the Halloween costume that I wanted my little misses to wear for this last Halloween…alas, it was not meant to be…I just couldn’t get her on board with it. And she just will not cooperate with wigs! LOL! and that is my favorite part!!!
The November kit is full of the gorgeous Garden Girl from Bo Bunny!
I used several Cricut cartridges to make this….the intricate die-cut design over the orange background was created with my Mother’s Day 2010 cartridge on “Fit to Page” setting. The flowers were created with the AMAZING “Flower Shoppe’ cartridge, and the font was made using the Hello Kitty font cartridge! I made a resolution to start using my Cricut…and I am loving it!
Here are some up-close photos:

I love my cricut. but seem to forget to use it! I would love this cart though.. lots of potential for my pages!!
How cute and adorable.
yes I need to use my cricut more as well.
Love the colors!
Here’s to another year for you.
Nancy! Your layouts are always so gorgeous and intricate. If it makes you feel any better, I wanted my son to be Charlie Brown for Halloween, and he was, but his costume was too small and he ended up splitting his pants before the night was through! Lol! At least I have fun memories to scrap!
I love your layout! You have motivated me to pull out my cricut and see what I can come up with…I also had a good laugh about the costume thing. Except when they were babies I have never been able to get my family aboard with my costume ideas. Yet again this year I wanted us to dress up as the Wizard of Oz. Even my two year old grandson did not want to be the lion so Thomas the train it was!
