Scraps of Darkness Monthly Kit Club Reveals “Purple Haze”
Well….it is the 15th of the month again….and today marks the November reveal of Scraps of Darkness’ latest kit: PURPLE HAZE!
“Well she’s walking through the clouds
With a circus mind that’s running round
Butterflies and zebras
And moonbeams and fairy tales
That’s all she ever thinks about…
Riding with the wind.”
– Jimi Hendrix
And here are some of the projects I created with this dazzling kit:
Here is my Lizzie’s first day of Pre-K! She was so excited! I created this layout using the exclusive sketch made for November’s kit from fellow Design Team member, Charlotte Jenkins aka Suepup.
Here are some detailed shots:
I created the title on my Cricut using the Hoot ’n’ Holler Cricut Lite cartridge.
My next layout is of a beautiful wintery photo my husband took while he was traveling in Germany several years back.
Next is the 3rd layout I created with this gorgeously colorful kit:
I used 3 different Cricut cartridges in creating this: Mother’s Day 2010, Elegant Edges, and Fancy Frames.
I have shared a tutorial over at the Scraps of Darkness web-site on how I created the flowers for this layout if you are interested… click HERE.
And lastly, here is the 4th layout I created using this AMAZING kit:
I used my EK Success Perfect Petal punch in a little bit of a different way.
I have shared a short tutorial on how I created this border detailing with Liquid Pearls over at www.scrapsofdarkness.com !
TFL my friends! Stay tuned as I will be posting my next blog give-away this next Saturday (another Cricut Lite cartridge, or alternate prize if you don’t have a Cricut) and I will also be sharing more projects using this gorgeous kit soon!
