Trust & Love – September Round Robin over at Scraps of Darkness
Here is my interpretation of Lisa’s gorgeous take of Ashley’s amazingly creative layout for the Scraps of Darkness’s September Round Robin Challenge -using the magnanimous Scraps of Darkness PASSAGES kit. For anyone not familiar with a Round Robin, basically it is where you are divided into teams…in this case I was on Team #4 week #3….the first round player creates an original layout….the 2nd player lifts the first layout…the 3rd player (me) lifts the 2nd layout….you don’t have to complete “lift” the layout per se…but use the basic layouts design elements or use it as your inspiartion…the neatest part of this challenge is that it is so much fun to see the layouts EVOLVE … kinda like “Pass the Secret” only scrapbook style!
Here is my layout:
This is a photo of my sweet Saylor when he was such a wee one….his hand on daddy’s hand. I have to say, when my dear husband saw this…his immediate comment was “Why are my legs so hairy?” in which I replied…”I could tell everyone that this is me.”
at least I made him laugh. ( Sorry hon….I had to share! )
Here are some up-close detailed photos:
Above is a photo of some beads that I hot-glued as accents! I love turquoise!
Above is an up-close photo of the background masking/inking that I did with one of my stencils from The Crafter’s Workshop: Arabesque.
TFL!

This is gorgeous! I really love the masking…
It is a great photo and memory.
I just found your blog via the Robin’s Nest blog and love your work! I wonder if you can tell me which Cricut Cartridge for the frame on your page on the Robin’s Nest Chattering Robin’s Blog please? Thanks!
