The Speckled Egg’s Petite Inspiration Box Swap – Curiosities Edition

October2

So, my fab friend (and dear cousin) Amy, told me about this amazing swap that goes on over at the Speckled Egg – it involves decorating a match-box (a medium-sized one) and swapping them with other papercraft artists.  Well….I was intrigued and had to join in on the fun! and it was sooo much fun!!! Here are the boxes that I made for my 2 swap “sisters” – the theme for this particular swap was “Curiosities” which was to include flea market vintage, steampunk style, Halloween ….all of those “etc.” funky and fun bits and pieces…you decorate and fill the boxes up with great little treasures and send them of to your assigned partners.

I knew that some of the steampunk papers and embellies that I had gotten from the Scraps of Darkness Shoppe would be PERFECT for my boxes.  Be sure and get to www.scrapsofdarkness.com if you want unique and amazing papers and embellishments for your next crafting project…and check out the amazing monthly scrap kit the site offers as well….the monthly kits never cease to AMAZE me.
