Same Time, Different Place – Twisted Sketch #107 and Scraps of Darkness “Welcome to the Jungle” June kit
The latest sketch (TWISTED SKETCH #107) is live over at www.twistedsketches.com! The “twist” for this week’s sketch is TIME, any how or any way that inspires you to create! Here is my interpretation:
The photos are of my parents….at just around the same time, just totally different places. I used my June 2011 “Welcome to the Jungle” kit from www.scrapsofdarkness.com to make this layout, using Twisted Sketch #107 - I hope you come over to www.twistedsketches.com and play along with the weekly sketch challenge….and be sure and drop by www.scrapsofdarkness.com – the kits are AMAZING…and uniquely different!!!!

The above border punch (which I cut out) is from EK Success. I used the scrap pieces created by the punch for the “confetti” at the top.
The above flowers are from my stash…and I bought them from Michael’s for the sole purpose of using them as a template to make my own flowers from yarn…aren’t they fun?
This new Dusty Attic chipboard “chicken wire” can be found in the shoppe/store over at www.scrapsofdarkness.com – I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff!!!! The large foliage chipboard piece is also from Dusty Attic and I “stickled” the heck out of it with the stickles that came in the Scraps of Darkness kit.

I’ve got the sketch printed out and trying to decide which way I want to work the twist. Very inspirational! Way to work the kit; I saw it and was immediately intimidated and “stuck.” You showcased a lot of versatility with some incredibly bold paper.
