Stop and Take a Break – Twisted Sketch #103 and Scraps of Darkness May kit

May25

The latest sketch is live over at www.twistedsketches.com ! the “twist” for this sketch is STOP, any how or any way that inspires you to create.  Come over and join in on the fun!!!  Here is my interpretation:

I used my absolutely exquisite May “Now and Zen” kit from www.scrapsofdarkness.com ! This monthly scrapbooking kit club is amazing…and different…be sure and get over there and check it out…YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED!

There is a lot of dimension and details on this layout that are hard to photograph. Here are some up-close detailed photos:

Is that enough detailed photos for you?! 🙂

For details on the contents of this kit and supplies used here, please visit www.scrapsofdarkness.com ! other supplies here from my personal stash include the hook and eye notions, alpha letters from Cosmo Cricket, October Afternoon, and Glitz Designs.  The leaf stamps were a one-of-a-kind stamp made locally.  I also used some flourish stitching templates from Oriental Trading Company.

TFL my friends! Have a great rest of the week and up-coming weekend!

Wow Nancy! This layout is absolutely stunning! I love the distressed circles enveloping that wonderful photo of Ms. Fesity! The stitching looks amazing, I love the dimension of the leaves, and I love the little bird in the nest! Very clever take on the “stop” twist….love it!

Give Lizzie birthday hugs from me! We will see her this weekend!
