A New Door, A New Journey – Scraps of Darkness April “Foundations” Kit

April17

Here is a layout I created using the April “Foundations” Kit from www.scrapsofdarkness.com – another amazing kit…be sure and check it out! If you don’t want to miss out on the amazing monthly kits…be sure and sign-up to receive them monthly….It’s like Christmas year round!

The Bo Bunny Timepiece papers in this kit are FANTASTIC!  I used the Graphic 45 Door Knob and plate from my March kit on here as well, as well as some amazing Dusty Attic exquisite chipboard pieces…be sure and check out the Shoppe over at Scrap of Darkness for a lot of amazing Dusty Attic products as well as other cool embellishments and papers.

This is an amazing photo of my husband taken by one of his talented friends in the Assyrian Room at the Masonic Scottish Rite temple in Guthrie Oklahoma.

Here are some up-close detailed photos:

If you notice the little tab by the door knob plate…this is the tab to pull out the hidden journaling.

Here is a photo of the hidden journaling card being pulled out.

And above is the full hidden journaling pulled out.

TFL my friends! 🙂 Stay tuned, I have 2 more layouts to share with you today…then another next Friday…and the final page made with this awesome kit the following Friday!  That’s right…I was able to make 6 full pages with this kit!!! Hope I inspire you to create something today!!! 🙂

This layout is a definite favorite for me. All the rich colors and elegant patterns surrounding the photo are fabulous. Daniel looks very regal and distinguished in the photograph. Nice masculine layout, even if there are a few flowers! 🙂

BTW, that patina stained knob looks amazing!!!
