My Dad Could Have Been a Movie Star – Twisted Sketch #92 and Scraps of Darkness “Vintage Revelry” March Kit

March16

Twisted Sketch #92 is now live over at www.twistedsketches.com ! The “twist” for this sketch was BRADS…any how or any way that inspires you to creat! Here is my interpretion of the sketch:

Basically, I turned the sketch OVER.  I used some small red brads from CTMH and some star brads that I bought from Oriental Trading Co ages ago.  I have no idea who the manufacturer is for  the brad/charm holding the tag.

I used my March kit “Vintage Revelry” from www.scrapsofdarkness.com to make this layout! Lots of awesome Graphic 45 paper in this kit….I used one of the G45 die-cut negative space sheets for the brackground….some of the amazing mists that came in the Color Add-on for this kit and a Tim Holtz mask…red staples are from office supply & title letters are Thickers.

Love this photo of my dad. Wasn’t he handsome? Unfortunately it’s impossible to tell…but he was also blessed with beautiful blue eyes….which both of my sisters inherited (I got my mom’s green eyes.)

Here are some up-close photos:

I would love for you to stop over and play along with Twisted Sketches….be sure and up-load a direct link to your amazing creation under the comment section for Twisted Sketch #92 so that I can see your brilliant interpretation!!!!
