The latest sketch is live over at www.twistedsketches.com. The “twist” for this week’s sketch was “FRAME” , any how or any way that word inspires you to create! Here is my interpretation:

This is my first attempt at the Steampunk style…all of the paper and embellies, except the Prima bling and title letters (October Afternoon) were from the Scraps of Darkness shoppe! (Graphic 45 paper, Tim Holtz gears) They have the coolest stuff over there so be sure and check it out!

I turned the sketch a quarter turn…did a lot of fussy-cutting with the FABULOUS “Steampunk Debutante” paper from Graphic 45…..”framing” the page and the photo.

Your first attempt at “steampunk” is fabulous! I love all the imagery, the butterflies, the gears/gadgets and the vintage hand. Total perfection all around. Also, that pic of Lizzy has to be the most gorgeous….her hair was absolutely picture perfect that day….she looks like a movie star from the 1940′s!
