Paris – Twisted Sketches #DT05
Be sure and check out www.twistedsketches.com to see all the brilliant creations of THIS sketch by the newest Design Team members. The “twist” for this sketch was MAP. Here is my interpretation:
I really thought a photo taken in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France back in 1988 was perfect for this twist. The Map paper is From CTMH….other supplies include: GCD paper, Zva bling flourish, Petaloo flower, Thickers chipboard elements, swirly photo corner from Heidi Swapp, Bazzill’s Just the Edge zig-zag, the little envelope holds more photos from this trip (unknown manufacturer), and other misc from my stash.
I’m a fill-the-page kind of scrapbooker, so I found this negative space design refreshing and a bit challenging. Here are some up-close detailed photos:
I added some dimensional “slick” Dermacoat paint polk-dots to the large pink flower…which I colored Hot Pink with one of my Bic Mark-It permanent marker.
TFL my friends! I cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate your comments and feedback!
I hope you drop over to www.twistedsketches.com and join us in these sketch challenges with a “twist” !

love your interpretation! so many fabby details!
The page is wonderful. I love your interpretation of the sketch with all the special elements … the envelope is just so clever and creative.
I love it! the envelope idea was great! I also love the clock hand in the corner of the page!
I LOVE this layout! The hot pink with dots totally pops off the page in the flower and the tower. So cute! Speaking of, where did you get the tower? Did you create it? Super nice touch! The coolest part about the layout is the envelope with the hidden pictures. Such sweet memories to treasure forever!
TRE CHIC!!! Beautiful LO!
