The Luckiest Day of His Life – Scraps of Darkness January Kit “WHITE MAGIC”
Here is my 2nd DT layout using the gorgeous January kit “White Magic” from Scraps of Darkness.
I would like to preface this by saying that my husband came up with this title!
I used a prima bling flourish package (the clear backing) for my stitching template on this…just poked holes through the indentation were the bling was to mark my stitches on the paper. The intricate photo corners were made using one of my CTMH clear stamps. Title alphas were from American Crafts: Thickers and Cosmo Crickets miniature alphas. Also used here is Polymark’s shiny black dimensional paint. The Prima butterfly and vine as well as the Basic Grey rub-ons were in the kits.
I made the flower by using a Stampendous stamp…stamping it twice, once on the white paper and then again on a patterned paper…I then cut out the center of the petals and adhered them….cut some of my bead trim into small strips for my flower centers, then hot glued the gem to the center. You made that flower? I had no idea! Love how you used both the white and patterned paper on it. Definitely a great embellishment for our future kit club missy!
