Winter – Twisted Sketch #84

The latest sketch is live over at www.twistedsketches.com !  The “TWIST” for this week’s twist is winter…so of course, I had to scrap some photos of the only blizzard I have experienced first hand! It was crazy…fortunately we knew about it enough in advance and where prepared to be seriously snowed in!  to view the sketch click HERE

Here is a photo of our house…..Daniel’s snowed in sports car and the snow piled high just outside our front door.

and I just realized that the date on this is wrong…I’m going to have to change it to Winter 2009.

Here are some up-close photos:

Supplies use here include:  paper: DCWV Premium Photo stack; Martha Stewart border punch; Prima Alphas; Dreamcoat acrylic white paint; Tombow permanent adhesive; Prima bling used as a template for the swirl; Timeless Touches paper piercer and corkboard; Dymo label maker and clear tape; chipboard snowflakes from Little Yellow Bicycle; and the most awesome product:  Frosty Craft Snow from Polyester Fibers LLC – this is a “fake”  craft snow made out of what looks like white plastic trash bags…I put down glue, then sprinkled it on like you would glitter…it’s awesome! 🙂

Very cool layout Nancy. Just thinking back on it gives me the chills….
Love how you did the big circle with the trees paper. It totally looks like those huge pines are directly behind your house! Beautiful!
