1994 Flowery Girls
I made this layout for a challenge over at For the Love of Art blog/store/gallery. This challenge was to use Shimmerz and closed September 27th 2010….although I finished it in plenty of time for the challenge deadline, the internet was down for days, making it impossible to up-load. So, I am only now able to share my layout! UGH!
This is a photo of me (middle), my baby sister on the right, and my niece (now 19 and over 6 feet tall) when we were flower girls at my cousins wedding back in 1994. Journaling on this reads…”We actually thought these dresses were kind of pretty back in 1994.”
List of supplies used here include: 12×12 Kraft chipboard from Scrapbook.com; Petaloo flowers; paper from GCD & Glitz Designs; Shimmerz Pearlz in “Grammie Berrie,” Shimmerz Spritz Miniz in “Before Dawn” & “Plum Pudding;” stencils from The Crafter’s Workshp: “Dots All Around” & “Doodle Flower,” the brown lace was from one of my Swirlydoo’s kits; the mutli-colored ribbon and tag were from a Scarlet Lime kit; the “1994″ was chibpoard letters from Creative Imaginations; the “flowery girl” alpha/glitter/foam stickers were from the dollar section at Target; the little puffy butterflies are from Darice; circle frame MM; the brown chipboard flowers from Crate Paper; adhesive from Tombow; Janlynn embroidery floss, and Timeless Touches paper piercer.
Here are a few up-close photos:
