SMOOTH OPERATOR – Twisted Sketch #62
Twisted Sketch #62 is now live over at www.twistedsketches.com. The “twist” for this week’s sketch was “SMOOTH” – I thought these photos of our little “Smooth Operator” would be perfect for this! Here is my 5 year old all dressed up for a wedding! He thought he was pretty “smooth.” I think that he is going to be quite the ladies man when he grows up!
You can find a direct link to this week’s sketch HERE. Come over and join in! Let the “twists” get you thinking OUTSIDE the box, use up some of your stash, & get some pictures scrapped all at the same time. It’s a WIN-WIN situation. Be sure and link up your layout under the comment section of the sketch you are working on. I would love to see your interpretation, and I check out each and every layout linked up!!! Some come on, whatcha waiting for?!?
Yes, those are discs from a ViewFinder from ViewMaster (sorry kids!) I picked those up at a garage sale for “next-to-near-nothing!” Woo Hoo!!! I punched circles out of patterned paper to cover the centers!
I hand-doodled part of the title to coordinate with the Love Elsie doodled b/w paper.
Journaling on this reads: “You may only be 5 years old, but you are already a little smooth operator – Uncle Mike had to laugh when he told you that your were fast, and very seriously, you pointed your finger at hims and said, “Yeah! I am fast.”
Other supplies used here but not already mentioned above, include: Jillibean Soup paper; Bazzill’s Just the Edge loop border; foam circles (cut apart) from American Crafts; Cosmo Cricket title letters (painted red); a large green photo corner from Heidi Swapp; various buttons from my stash (many of which come in my monthly Scarlet Lime kits – they don’t skimp on the buttons!!!); and Janlynn embroidery floss.
TFL! Please be sure and subscribe to my blog so that you can get an e-mail direct to your inbox anytime I post a new project!!! Have a great & blessed day!!!!

This is INSANELY FABULOUS!!! I saw it yesterday afternoon on Twsted Sketches and absolutely fell in love with it. The viewfinder embellishments…genius!!!!
genius idea to use the viewfinder circles – great page
Love the viewfinder discs. (Did we call them discs as children?) Really like the whole layout, buttons inside the alphas and all.
you are so innovative in your layouts… I would have never thought to use a viewfinder card on a layout… Love it- check out my my last twisted sketch!
