A Special Father’s Day Card for our special Daddy!!!
Here is the card I made for my husband this recent Father’s Day! I have been wanting to try my hand at one of these tri-shutter cards for awhile….and what a perfect occasion! I must say…it is SOOOO much easier than it looks! You can find the awesome tutorial for this card here! Give it a try – not only was it a lot of fun to make…but it also looks so cool! I can’t say that I have ever seen one of these cards that didn’t look fantastic! 
I used a superhero paper with coordinating brads and die-cuts that I purchased on-line from Oriental Trading Co. ages ago. Here is a link to the paper in case anyone is interested. It is perfect for all of those sons and husbands, for that matter, who love all things super-hero related. I also used some cardboard for the base of this card…it was the only handy thing I had at my recent scrappy club…and it worked great, giving just the right edgy feel and sturdiness. 
I absolutely loved receiving this! The card really had a great look to it, and I can’t believe it was as easy as Nancy says. One thing I can add is that this card has a neat “lighter than air” feeling to it… Which made me feel like a superhero when I opened it! (Or maybe I had just finished my Red Bull that morning.)
