My latest project was created on a 12 x 16 canvas panel, using the gorgeous Sommartider paper collection from Maja Design.

This piece was a lot of fun to create.

My inspiration for this came from what I believe to be was “Barbie” packaging (what was left over from my daughter’s Christmas present) – it had a great horizon scene which inspired me, and one of my daughter’s books.

I love children’s book illustrations and often think that one day I may actually write and illustrate a children’s book. Who knows?

Here is a Burger King crown that I altered for my little Fancy Nancy girlie girl. I used the gorgeous Vintage Spring Basics paper collection from Maja Design. This paper collection is such a breath of fresh air from all the cold harsh weather we have been having here in OK. For details on this project, please visit the Maja Design blog…. HERE.
