Another layout I created using the amazingly gorgeous ENVY kit from www.scrapsofdarkness.com – the minute I saw the papers in this kit, I immediately thought of my honeymoon in Ireland….
I used some Tim Holtz crackle paint on the chipboard pieces…95% of this layout was created either with my current ENVY kit at www.scrapsofdarkness.com or items from previous kits! I also used my Cricut, Storybook & my new Flower Shoppe Cricut cartridges, and my Martha Stewart button/embossing punch (scalloped border) and EK Success Apron Lace border punch! TFL!!!!
Here is another layout that I created using the amazing August ENVY kit from www.scrapsofdarkness.com:
and here are some up-close and detailed photos:

This amazingly beautiful kit from www.scrapsofdarkness.com is filled with the most beautiful papers from The Robins Nest and brand new Kaisercraft….I immediately knew that they would be perfect to scrap the recent wedding of some of our friends…
Such a beautiful wedding!
The intricate frame here was cut from the Lacy Labels Cricut “Lite” Cartridge and the flourishes from Lovely Floral Cricut “Lite” Cartridge (the “Lite” cartridges are apparently made exclusively for Walmart) ….another “mid-New-Year’s Resolution” …. I really need to use my Cricut more often!!!!
Another layout created using the absolutely AMAZING kit from www.scrapsofdarkness.com ! Every kit just blows me away….every month I think it is my new fave…and then the next month comes along!
oh, I think the title says it all! I have been blessed with a wee little one with not only “cutes” but “smarts” and “super sassiness” and some serious PERSONALITY! and although at 4 years old, it is rather hard to take at times….I really wouldn’t have it any other way!
Here are some up-close photos:
This was such an AMAZING kit to work with! and I’m not even close to being done! LOL! But only one more layout to share tonight! So, I hope, I hope, I hope that I have inspired you in some way to go create something! TFL!!!!!

This is my little man at just about 18 months…..he has ALWAYS been a tall kid for his age…what could I expect…He was 10 lbs 10 oz AND 10 days early…MY PERFECT TEN! He is now 6 yo…about to start the 1st grade…and looks like a 3rd grader!
The gears used here are from Dusty Attic….I used a lot of Tim Holtz distress Ink, the chalk ink that came in this month’s kit at www.scrapsofdarkness.com , which was the perfect green, Tim Holtz distress crackle paint in a green color … went over it again with some darker Tim Hotz distress ink, and voila! I personally think that the key looks like rusted metal….check out the up-close photo and decide for yourself. I got the Dusty Attic chipboard gear piece through www.scrapsofdarkness.com ! LOVE their stuff!
Here are some up-close photos:
I used some hemp rope that I got at Walmart to make the circles…love the texture!
The key with the gears is from ScrapFX and was also purchased through the “shoppe” over at www.scrapsofdarkness.com . I used the same painting and inking technique as mentioned above. The alphas are from The Girls Paperie…Halloween edition.
Look at the inking/paint technique….love love love it!!!! Doesn’t it look like rusted metal?!
Above is the “crackle” finish of the Tim Holtz distress crackle paints! You ROCK Mr. Holtz!
The alpha letters of “Apples” were from a previous kit at www.scrapsofdarkness.com and are from the rockin’ Tim Holtz!
TFL my friends! at least I hope you can see this….because I am hoping my blog troubles are behind me! HAVE A GREAT WEEK!!!!

This is my cutie pie Elizabeth when she was little! LOVE this photo of her.
Funny fact: the blue flowers used here I hand-made….at a meeting that I went to for work….I used the blue note pad that they provided to take notes on…and the blue pen they provided to all the attendees….I was sooooo BORED…but thrilled with these hand-made roses!
Here are some up-close photos:
These little Melissa Frances frames are included in the ROMANCE add-on kit for August’s ENVY kit at www.scrapsofdarkness.com !

This is my 8th layout I have “squeezed” out of my July 2011 “Marrakesh Express” kit from www.scrapsofdarkness.com !
and here are some up-close photos….I made the background by stamping onto cardstock….the same “snowflake” image that I used to make the black/white flower here…and the burgundy ones in my previous layout ‘Stink Eye-Grumpy Princess.’
Here is my interpretation of the Round Robin challenge we have going on over at www.scrapsofdarkness.com – If you want a fun, friendly, ultra-fabulous forum (the 4 F’s ) be sure and come over and join us!!! I used my July kit from www.scrapsofdarkness.com !
Here is my sweet baby Elizabeth on her first birthday….she was a bit grumpy….giving me her signature “Number 2 mean look” as my father calls it! LOL!
I hand-made ALL of the flowers but 2 here (which are the green ones that I got at Michael’s on sale.)
Above is a flower that I made using one of my CTMH “snowflake” stamps…I stamped it several times and then fussy-cut portions of each snowflake and layered them into a dimensional flower! I am trying to use the plethora of stamps that I have accumulated but seldom use!!!! a mid-year resolution, so to speak!
I used one of my Bic Permanent markers to color in the middle of these Thicker alphabet stickers.
