I used various elements from some of my Swirlydoo’s kits (see Swirlydoos.com) and the newest Bo Bunny Winter paper, Snowy Serenade…such beautiful paper….the chipboard flourishes are from Technique Tuesday…and the large chipboard circle is from Close to my Heart.

The Oldest Sister
So, my mom’s birthday is quickly approaching….and I wanted to make her something really special….So, as I am the middle daughter of 3 girls…I am making her a scrapbook page of each of us girls when we were babies! This is my oldest sister, Carol. Gosh she was cute…and oh, so very bald. I can safely display this page here, because although she has internet access…she NEVER goes on-line! this layout was done using Suepup’s “Sketch 1” from Scrapbook.com that she up-loaded back on May 27, 2009, I just turned it on it’s side…She really does beautiful sketches…so thanx Suepup for the inspiration! This was done with my Swirlydoo’s September Bejeweled Kit (Swirlydoos.com)….tons of Prima goodness….the round chipboard circles are from CTMH, I used black acrylic paint on the green Prima stems, took them apart….made small stitches to hold them in place…. the black butterfly is from the Swirlydoos kit. the stamping around the frame was done by one of my 7 Gypsies acrylic stamps. I have no idea where the pink gauze ribbon came from….the center pearls on the flowers are Kaisercraft! …..this is the 1st of 3 layouts I am doing for my mom!
